Exploding Shed House by

Project

Exploding Shed House by
David Weir Architects

Designed by David Weir Architects, the Exploding Shed House is a stunning example of simple, stylish, modern living at its best. In the kitchen, Maxi Film plywood has been used for the shelving, cabinets and joinery throughout. The black phenolic film contrasts beautifully with the white subway tiles of the splashback, and in combination with the open shelving and bright pops of colour from the pull-out storage crates, it gives the space a distinctly modern look and feel. The natural plywood edging of the cabinetry and overhead shelving provides the bold colour scheme with a layer of depth, while also adding a nice touch of warmth to the room too.
