Cost-effective Plywood Solutions!

When it comes to construction projects, your budget plays a part in defining your choice of materials. However, even when you are working to a strict or limited budget, there are still plenty of options available that allow you to create a design with a pleasing aesthetic while keeping the costs low.

Our pre-finished ply panels are a popular choice for interior walls and ceilings in commercial and community spaces due to their ease of use, durability and attractive finish. And when you opt for the panels to be made from Monterey Pine, pre-finished ply becomes a cost-effective option too.

So if you’re looking for clever value-management materials to specify for an upcoming project, read on to find out more.

Superior product, cost-effective price

The popular Maxi Panel range of plywood panels have been used to great effect in many of our past projects – from schools and libraries, to sports pavilions. Maxi Panel is available in Baltic Birch or Monterey Pine, and the two options differ in their grain and appearance, their suitability to various purposes and situations, and the cost.

While both Maxi Panel Baltic Birch and Monterey Pine panels are suitable for use on interior walls and ceilings, when the panels are made from Baltic Birch, they can also be used for joinery, and even in protected spaces externally in the right situation. We offer the Monterey Pine as a cost management option, and although it is not suitable for joinery, it is a superior and economical product that will stand the test of time, and looks great on walls and ceilings in interiors of all descriptions.

Pre-finished for ease and to match your style

Whichever plywood you choose, Maxi Panels are pre-finished  in your colour of choice before delivery, using our Intelligrain coating machine. We do not recommend pre-finishing on site due to the added cost and time involved, as well as the inferior results. The coating machine scrubs the hard wax oil into the board, protecting it from wear and tear from within. This results in a longer lasting and flawless finish (not to mention saving you a lot of time, effort and guys onsite!).

The colour selection available is extensive, with 18 options available to choose from. The colour range covers all bases – from classic neutrals like ‘Natural Sand’ to modern hues and on-trend statements like ‘Purple Velvet’ and ‘Sun Flower’.

Quality, style and durability at the right price

Keeping your project on budget doesn’t mean you have to compromise – when you make smart choices you can achieve your design vision without blowing the budget. So if your looking for a stylish, durable and affordable plywood panel to complete your design, Maxi Panel in Monterey Pine could be just the ticket.

If you have a question about our Maxi Panel range, the differences between Baltic Birch and Monterey Pine timber, or anything else plywood related, please contact our team for friendly and knowledgeable advice on 1300 761 741.
