Long-favoured by architects and designers as their material of choice to add texture, warmth and colour to their projects, Maxi Panel real timber panelling is made to order as per your specifications in our Melbourne manufacturing base.
Available in a variety of timber species to suit your project requirements, including Rock Maple, a premium hardwood with a light colour and tight, intricate grain that offers maximum durability and longevity and a stunning Scandi-like appearance. Okoume is another hardwood species offering a uniform texture, or to create visual interest en masse, the beautiful open grain of the softwood species Monterey Pine or Hoop Pine are an ideal choice.
Maxi Panel comes in a range of finishes including Maxi Colour, Maxi Print, Maxi Veneer or Maxi Ply Veneer. Maxi Colour is our hard wax oil finish which comes in a wide range of colours, this coating system penetrates deeply into the wood to protect the timber, creating a stunning plywood panel that is durable, striking and ready to install.

Maxi Panel is a standard Group 3 Fire Rating. There are options for higher group ratings depending on your application. It’s best to send your project, application and required rating through to [email protected] and one of our representatives will reply with the best solution.

Depending on your application, the best installation method for Maxi Panel is the Concealed Plug System. It allows for a flawless finish across the panel and gives you the flexibility to span the panel as required.

Baltic Birch, Monterey Pine and Baltic Pine are all FSC® Certified - FSC-C139021 products, meaning that all timber used comes from responsible forestry’s both environmentally and socially. Maxi Panel is then pre- finished in Melbourne.

Things to keep in mind with plywood panels
Maxi Panel is manufactured using your choice of Baltic Birch or Monterey Pine. Baltic Birch is a premium product, that produces a stronger, exterior grade plywood. For maximum durability and a longer life, all edges should be sealed with a clear hard-wax oil. Tins of hard-wax oil and coloured touch up oil are available for purchase. Maxi Panel is primarily for internal use. Maxiply does not recommend any plywood to be used for doors as many external factors can affect the structure.
